Andrew Klippel
Andrew Klippel is an Australian music producer, songwriter and engineer. Klippel co-founded Australian dance-pop group Euphoria (1991-1993), before releasing solo music under the alias Elastic (1994) and A.K. Soul (1995+) Early life Andrew Klippel is the son of sculptor and teacher, Robert Klippel. Andrew spent some years in the UK, before returning to Australia. By the late 1980s, Andrew began playing live with his own small bands around Sydney, including ''Andrew Klippel and Electric Soul''. In the early 1990s, Andrew formed a songwriting/production company called ''ESP'' with Melbourne DJ Ean Sugarman. Career 1991–1993: Euphoria In 1991, Klippel co-founded Australian dance-pop trio Euphoria with Holly Garnett and Keren Minshull and in October 1991, released their debut single "Love You Right" which peaked at number 1 on the ARIA Charts. Euphoria (Australian Band)
Euphoria were an Australian dance-pop trio formed in 1991. They were founded by producer and songwriter Andrew Klippel on keyboards and backing vocals with lead vocals and dancing by Holly Garnett and Keren Minshull. Euphoria had two number-one hits on the ARIA Singles Chart, " Love You Right" (November 1991) and " One in a Million" (April 1992). Their third single, " Do for You" (August 1992), peaked at No. 7. Their sole album, '' Total Euphoria'' (October 1992), reached No. 14 on the related ARIA Albums Chart. Model Jodhi Meares replaced Garnett after she left in 1992. The group disbanded in mid-1993. Holly Garnett died by suicide in October 1998, aged 29. The Music
The Music are an English alternative rock band, formed in Kippax, Leeds in 1999. Comprising Robert Harvey (vocals, guitar), Adam Nutter (lead guitar), Stuart Coleman (bass) and Phil Jordan (drums), the band came to prominence with the release of their self-titled debut album in 2002. The band released two further studio albums, '' Welcome to the North'' (2004) and ''Strength in Numbers'' (2008), before parting ways in 2011. Career The Music all met at Brigshaw High School (except Phil Jordan, who went to Garforth), and began playing in 1999 as Insense. In 2001, the song " Take the Long Road and Walk It" circulated as a demo before being released by Fierce Panda as a 1000-copies-only single, a rarity from its day of release. Genesis Owusu
Kofi Owusu-Ansah (born 1998 Ghana), known by his stage name Genesis Owusu, is a Ghanaian-Australian singer from Canberra. He is the younger brother of fellow hip hop rapper, Kojo Owusu-Ansah Citizen Kay. Owusu's debut studio album, ''Smiling with No Teeth'' (March 2021), reached the ARIA Albums Chart top 30. At the 2021 ARIA Music Awards he won four trophies for Album of the Year, Best Hip Hop Release, Best Independent Release and Best Cover Art (latter shared with Bailey Howard). 2021 ARIA Music Awards
The 2021 ARIA Music Awards are the 35th Annual Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards (generally known as ARIA Music Awards or simply The ARIAs) and consist of a series of awards, including the 2021 ARIA Artisan Awards, ARIA Hall of Fame Awards, ARIA Fine Arts Awards and the ARIA Awards.
