Andrew Hurry
Andrew Hurry (born 15 October 1964) is director of cricket at Somerset County Cricket Club. A former Royal Marines fitness instructor and amateur cricketer with both Taunton and Wembdon Cricket Clubs, Hurry joined Somerset in March 2001 as Fitness Instructor, introducing yoga as an activity for the 2002 season. For the 2005 season, Hurry was named Second XI coach, but left to coach the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. Hurry rejoined Somerset as First XI coach in February 2006 to replace England bound Mark Garaway, having achieved England and Wales Cricket Board coaching qualifications up to Level Four. In the 2007 season, with Justin Langer as captain and Hurry as coach, Somerset won the County Championship second division with 10 victories in 16 matches, after finishing last in 2006. Somerset County Cricket Club
Somerset County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Somerset. Founded in 1875, Somerset was initially regarded as a minor county until official first-class status was acquired in 1895. The England cricket team represents England and Wales in international cricket. Mark Garaway
Mark Garaway (born 20 July 1973 in Swindon, Wiltshire) is a former English cricketer. Garaway was a right-handed batsman who played primarily as a Wicketkeeper. Garaway represented Hampshire in three first-class and two List-A matches between 1996 and 1997. Garaway also played for the Marylebone Cricket Club in a single first-class match against a Pakistan A team. In February 2006 and at the age of 32, Garaway was named as the new team analyst and assistant coach of England, ahead of the tour to India. Justin Langer
Justin Lee Langer (21 November 1970) is an Australian cricket coach and former cricketer. He is the former coach of the Australia men's national team, having been appointed to the role in May 2018 and leaving in February 2022. A left-handed batsman, Langer is best known for his partnership with Matthew Hayden as Australia's test opening batsmen during the early and mid-2000s, considered one of the most successful ever. The NatWest Pro40 League was a one-day cricket league for first-class cricket counties in England and Wales. It was inaugurated in 1999, but was essentially the old Sunday League retitled to reflect large numbers of matches being played on days other than Sunday. Sunday League The Sunday League was launched in 1969, as the second one-day competition in England and Wales alongside the Gillette Cup (launched in 1963). David Nosworthy
David Owen Nosworthy (born 25 December 1967) is a South African former cricketer. A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium and off break bowler, he enjoyed modest success as a player playing 29 first-class matches and 14 list A games, but has made his name as a coach and his portfolio of first-class coaching roles include the South African franchises Highveld Lions and Nashua Titans, in New Zealand with Canterbury and in England with Somerset.
