Andrew Dunkley
Andrew Dunkley (born 29 June 1968) is a former Australian rules footballer who represented in the Australian Football League (AFL). He also represented Victoria in State of Origin in 1998. AFL career Dunkley played most of his career at full-back at a time when champion forwards such as Tony Lockett, Wayne Carey, Tony Modra, Gary Ablett Sr., Jason Dunstall and various others graced the field. He was renowned for his competitiveness as well as his ordinary kicking skills. Dunkley was selected to play for the Swans in the 1996 AFL Grand Final, but took the field in controversial circumstances. On the Wednesday before the Grand Final, Dunkley was reported on video evidence – which was still relatively uncommon practice at the time – for striking 's James Hird in the previous week's preliminary final. Victoria Australian Rules Football Team
The Victoria Australian rules football team, known colloquially as the Big V, is the state representative side of Victoria, Australia, in the sport of Australian rules football. The Big V has a proud history, dominating the first 100 years of intercolonial-interstate football, and being the most successful state in State of Origin. The Leongatha Football Club, nicknamed the ''Parrots'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the town of Leongatha, Victoria. The club teams currently compete in the Gippsland League. Kyle Dunkley (born 20 June 2000) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was selected in the 2019 Mid-season rookie draft. He made his senior debut against Carlton in round 16 of the 2019 season. He was delisted at the end of the 2020 season. Brisbane Lions
The Brisbane Lions is a professional Australian rules football club based in Brisbane, Queensland, that plays in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was formed in late 1996 via a merger of the Melbourne-based 1883 foundation VFL club the Fitzroy Lions, and the 1987 Queensland based expansion club the Brisbane Bears, with the colours of maroon, blue, and gold being drawn from both parent clubs. James Hird
James Albert Hird (born 4 February 1973) is a former professional Australian rules football player and past senior coach of the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Hird played as a midfielder and half-forward, but he was often given free rein by then-Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy to play wherever he thought necessary. Hird was a highly decorated footballer, with accolades including the 1996 Brownlow Medal and membership of the Australian Football Hall of Fame.
