Andrei Genadyevich Voronkov (russian: Андрей Геннадьевич Воронков; born 19 May 1967) is a Russian volleyball Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Sum ... coach and former player. As a player, he won the Turkish championships in 1996–1998, 2002 and 2004. Since 2006 he works as a volleyball coach. Between 2013 and 2015 he was head coach of the Russian men's team. Voronkov is married to a volleyball coach and former player. Their both daughters are also volleyball players. One of them, Irina Voronkova, is a member of the national team. Slavsk
Slavsk (russian: link=no, Славск; german: Heinrichswalde; lt, Gastos; pl, Jędrzychowo) is a town and the administrative center of Slavsky District in the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia, located northeast of Kaliningrad. Population figures: History The town was established in 1292. In 1454, King Casimir IV Jagiellon incorporated it to the Kingdom of Poland upon the request of the anti-Teutonic Prussian Confederation. After the subsequent Thirteen Years' War (1454–1466), it became a part of Poland as a fief held by the Teutonic Knights, and by Ducal Prussia afterwards. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. Russia Men's National Volleyball Team
The Russia men's national volleyball team is governed by the Russian Volleyball Federation and took part in international volleyball competitions. FIVB considers Russia as the inheritor of the records of Soviet Union (1948–1991) and CIS (1992). The USSR Volleyball Federation joined the FIVB in 1948, a year after the foundation of the international governing body. Irina Voronkova
Irina Andreyevna Voronkova (russian: Ирина Андреевна Воронкова; born 20 October 1995) is a Russian volleyball player. She is part of the Russia women's national volleyball team and was part of the national teams at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju, the 2015 Montreux Volley Masters, the 2015 European Games in Baku, the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Thailand, the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. and 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. At club level, she played for Dinamo Moscow, Dinamo Kazan and Zarechie Odintsovo before returning to Dinamo Kazan for a second spell in 2016.
