Andrei Năstase
Andrei Năstase (born 6 August 1975) is a Moldovan politician serving as Government of Moldova, Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova, Minister of Internal Affairs from 8 June 2019 to 12 November 2019. He was member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Parliament of Moldova in 2019. Năstase has been leader of Dignity and Truth Platform Party (Platforma DA) from 2015 to 2021. Năstase was selected as joint candidate of Pro-Europeanism, pro-European Dignity and Truth Platform Party, Platforma DA and Party of Action and Solidarity, PAS parties and won the runoff of the 2018 Chișinău mayoral snap election with 52.57% of the votes, outrunning pro-Russian Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova, PSRM candidate, Ion Ceban. Chișinău City Hall ( ro, Primăria Municipiului Chișinău) is a historical and architectural monument built in Italian Gothic style located in Central Chișinău, Moldova. Telenești District
Telenești () is a district ( ro, raion) in central Moldova, with the administrative center at Telenești. History The oldest recorded settlements of the district are: Banești, Peciste and Telenești, mentioned in 1437. At the time, the landowners had the right to sell their estate, in parts or entirely. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the region's economy developed (trade, agriculture, winery), resulting in a significant increase in population. In 1812, after the Treaty of Bucharest, Bessarabia was occupied by the Russian Empire, and an intense process of russification of the native population followed. In 1918, as a result of the fall of the Russian Empire, Bessarabia was united with Romania, and the Romanian government enacted a land reform. The Sandu Cabinet was a Cabinet of Moldova, led by Maia Sandu. History It was inaugurated on 8 June 2019, in the middle of the 2019 Moldovan constitutional crisis when the Constitutional Court of Moldova declared unconstitutional her designation for this position as well as the appointment of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. However on 15 June 2019, the Constitutional Court revised and repealed its previous decisions declaring the Sandu Cabinet to have been constitutionally created. 2019 Moldovan Constitutional Crisis
In mid-2019, a sequence of events following the 2019 Moldovan parliamentary election – and the subsequent attempts to form and install a new government, culminated in the positions of Prime Minister and Speaker of the Parliament, as well as the powers and duties of the President, being claimed by competing individuals. On 8 June 2019, Maia Sandu was elected prime minister by parliament – forming the Sandu Cabinet, while Zinaida Greceanîi was elected Speaker of the Parliament. 2019 Moldovan Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Moldova on 24 February 2019 in order to elect the 101 members of the Parliament of Moldova. The Constitution holds that elections are to be held no later than four years and three months from the date of inauguration of the previous legislature. The elections were held under a parallel voting system, replacing the closed-list proportional system used in Moldova at all previous parliamentary elections since the independence. The PAS was founded by Maia Sandu, the former Minister of Education and the incumbent president of Moldova.
