Andreas Berg (Schrøder)
Andreas Berg (4 October 1861 – 29 June 1944) was a Norway, Norwegian lawyer, banker and politician for the Conservative Party (Norway), Conservative Party. He was born in Trondheim, Trondhjem as a son of bank treasurer Lauritz Berg and Regine Fredrikke Wanvig. In 1881 he married cityfellow Petra Larsen. He took the examen artium at Trondheim Cathedral School, Trondhjem Cathedral School in 1879 and graduated from the University of Oslo, Royal Frederick University with the cand.jur. degree in 1883. After a period as a deputy judge in Trondheim District Court, Trondhjem City Court, he worked as an attorney in the city from 1885. In 1901 he became chief executive officer of the bank Den nordenfjeldske Kreditbank. He retired after 28 years in the bank. He was also a board member of Centralbanken for Norge and several other ventures. Berg served as List of mayors of Trondheim, Mayor of Trondheim from 1899 to 1901 and 1908 to 1910. The dissolution of the union ( nb, unionsoppløsningen; nn, unionsoppløysinga; Landsmål: ''unionsuppløysingi''; sv, unionsupplösningen) between the kingdoms of Norway and Sweden under the House of Bernadotte, was set in motion by a resolution of the Storting on 7 June 1905. Following some months of tension and fear of an outbreak of war between the neighbouring kingdoms (then in personal union) – and a Norwegian plebiscite held on 13 August which overwhelmingly backed dissolution – negotiations between the two governments led to Sweden's recognition of Norway as an independent constitutional monarchy on 26 October 1905. Odd Sverressøn Klingenberg (8 June 1871 – 3 November 1944) was a Norwegian barrister and politician for the Conservative Party. He served as the Minister of Social Affairs 1920-1921, 1923 and 1923-1924 in addition to mayor of Trondheim 1911-1916. Christian Thaulow
Christian Thaulow (25 March 1864 – 12 September 1930) was a Norwegian merchant and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Trondhjem as a son of merchant and consul Hans Henrik Thaulow and Ulrikke Eleonore Steffens née Jenssen. On his mother's side he was a nephew of Francis Hagerup. He had two aunts who married men that served as MPs; Theodor Gottlieb August Angell and Christian Petersen respectively. Thaulow married Julie Augusta Wefring in 1890, a sister of politician Karl Wilhelm Wefring. After finishing his secondary education in 1883, he enrolled at the Royal Frederick University and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1887. He did not seek a career in law, but settled as a merchant in Trondhjem in 1888 in the family company ''Chr. Thaulow & Søn''. He became the sole proprietor in 1897.
