Andrea Dorfman (born October 29, 1968) is a Canadian screenwriter and film director based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Flawed (film)
''Flawed'' is a 2010 short animated documentary film and website by Halifax filmmaker Andrea Dorfman about body image, combining stop-motion animation and hand-painted images. ''Flawed'' was produced in Halifax by Annette Clarke for the National Film Board of Canada. According to Dorfman, the film was created to resemble a storyboard because it was based on a series of postcards that she has sent to a boyfriend while they were in a long-distance relationship. While ''Flawed'' is an autobiographical work, she also believes that it is universal because "I believe everyone has felt flawed at some point in their lives." Annette Clarke is a Canadian producer of documentary and animated films, who served as executive producer of the National Film Board of Canada's Quebec and Atlantic studio from 2003 to 2021. Stop motion is an animated filmmaking technique in which objects are physically manipulated in small increments between individually photographed frames so that they will appear to exhibit independent motion or change when the series of frames is played back. Squamish Chief
The Stawamus Chief, officially Stawamus Chief Mountain (often referred to as simply The Chief, or less commonly Squamish Chief), is a granitic dome located adjacent to the town of Squamish, British Columbia, Canada. It towers over above the waters of nearby Howe Sound. It is one of the largest granite monoliths in the world.
