Andre Fletcher
Andre Fletcher (born 28 November 1987) is a Grenadian cricketer who plays internationally for the West Indies. He is a right-handed batsman and often keeps wicket. He played domestic cricket for Windward Islands and Grenada. He was one of the few international cricketers to have come from Grenada. Domestic and T20 franchise career He made his first-class debut for Windward Islands against Trinidad and Tobago on 30 January 2004 in the Carib Beer Cup. Fletcher played for the West Indian U19 cricket team in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup which was in Sri Lanka. He made his T20 debut in the inaugural edition of the Stanford Super Series on 14 July 2006 and won player of the match on his debut after scoring unbeaten 47 opening the batting for Grenada in a low scoring chase against Dominica. In cricket, the batting order is the sequence in which batters play through their team's innings, there always being two batters taking part at any one time. All eleven players in a team are required to bat if the innings is completed (i.e., if the innings does not close early due to a declaration or other factor). List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket, with games lasting up to eight hours. The tournament was played between 25 October – 1 November consisting of 5 warm-up matches and a US$20 million for the grand finale. This final match was played between the Stanford Superstars and England. Before it began, the tournament was threatened with cancellation due to a row between Digicel, the West Indies Cricket Board's (WICB) main sponsor, and Stanford. Digicel argued that it should get sponsorship rights because it is WICB's sponsorship rights holder and that the tournament was officially sanctioned by the WICB. 2006–07 KFC Cup
The 2006–07 KFC Cup was the 33rd edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition was played between 9 January and 17 February 2007, using a round-robin format followed by play-offs. The six teams participating in the competition were Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. Trinidad and Tobago were undefeated in the round-robin, and eventually defeated the Windward Islands in the final to win their eighth domestic one-day title. The semi-finals and final were all held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at Kingstown's Arnos Vale Stadium. Stanford Super Series
The Stanford Super Series were a series of Twenty20 cricket matches in 2008, sponsored by Allen Stanford. The main game of the Series matched the English national cricket team against an all-star team from the Caribbean, called the Stanford Superstars. The prize money awarded in the tournament was winner-take-all; the players for the winning team in the yearly game took home $20 million prize money, and the losing players did not earn anything. Carib Beer Cup
The Regional Four Day Competition, formerly known as Shell Shield and Carib Beer Cup, is the first-class cricket competition in the West Indies. It is administered by the Cricket West Indies. In the 2013-2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy.
