2006–07 KFC Cup
The 2006–07 KFC Cup was the 33rd edition of the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). The competition was played between 9 January and 17 February 2007, using a round-robin format followed by play-offs. The six teams participating in the competition were Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands. Trinidad and Tobago were undefeated in the round-robin, and eventually defeated the Windward Islands in the final to win their eighth domestic one-day title. The semi-finals and final were all held in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, at Kingstown's Arnos Vale Stadium. West Indies Cricket Board
Cricket West Indies (CWI) is the governing body for cricket in the West Indies (a sporting confederation of over a dozen mainly English-speaking Caribbean countries and dependencies that once formed the British West Indies). It was originally formed in the early 1920s as the West Indies Cricket Board of Control, but changed its name to West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) in 1996. In November 2015, the Board resolved to rename itself as Cricket West Indies as part of a restructuring exercise that would also see the creation of a separate commercial body. This rebranding formally occurred in May 2017. CWI has been a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1926. Captain (cricket)
The captain of a cricket team, often referred to as the skipper, is the appointed leader, having several additional roles and responsibilities over and above those of the other players. As in other sports, the captain is usually experienced and has good communication skills, and is likely to be one of the most regular members of the team, as the captain is responsible for the team selection. Dale Richards
Dale Maurice Richards (born 16 July 1976) is a West Indian international cricketer who plays first class cricket for Barbados. A right-handed batsman, Richards debuted in 1999/2000. His highest first class score of 159 was made against Jamaica in the Carib Beer Series of 2006/07. Richards was called up for the West Indies' tour of England in 2009 but although he featured in two warm-up matches, he was forced to return home with a shoulder injury. Floyd Reifer
Floyd Lamonte Reifer (born 23 July 1972) is a Barbadian cricketer and politician. He is a left-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Reifer has played six Tests and eight One Day Internationals for the West Indies cricket team, spread over a home tour against Sri Lanka in 1997 and the 2009 edition of the ICC Champions trophy. Ten years after playing his fourth Test match, Reifer was recalled to play for the West Indies on 9 July 2009. He captained an understrength team fielded by the West Indies against Bangladesh. Alcino Holder
Alcindo Rennae Holder (born 24 September 1982) in Bridgetown. He is a West Indies cricketer who played in the 2002 U-19 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. Fidel Edwards
Fidel Henderson Edwards (born 6 February 1982) is a Barbadian cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. A pace bowler, his round-arm action is "not unlike" that of former fast bowler Jeff Thomson. He was spotted in the nets by Brian Lara and was called up for his Test debut against Sri Lanka after just one match for Barbados. Despite a promising start to his Test career, he has been injury prone and inconsistent. With an average of just under 40 in Test cricket, he has struggled to fulfil his early potential. Corey Collymore
Corey Dalanelo Collymore (born 21 December 1977) is a former Barbadian cricketer, who represented the West Indies team in both Tests and ODIs cricket as seam bowler. Collymore also played for Barbados, Warwickshire, Sussex and Middlesex in his cricketing career. International career Collymore made his test debut for the Windies in 1999 against Australia, where he bowled around the 90 mph mark. Shamarh Shaqad Joshua Brooks (born 1 October 1988) is a Barbadian international cricketer who plays international cricket for West Indies and plays domestic cricket for Barbados. Ian David Russell Bradshaw (born 9 July 1974) is a former Barbadian cricketer who played for the West Indies cricket team as a left-arm fast bowler in all three formats of the game.
