Amale Andraos (born 1973) is a New York-based designer. She was dean of the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (2014-2021) and serves as advisor to the Columbia Climate School. She is the co-founder of the New York City architecture firm WORKac with her husband, Dan Wood. Her impact on architectural practice around the world was recognized when she was named Honorary Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada in 2021. Fadee Andrawos ( ar, فادي أندراوس; born 21 October 1981) is a Palestinian- Lebanese singer and actor of Palestinian origin. Damour ( ar, الدامور) is a Lebanese Christian town that is south of Beirut. The name of the town is derived from the name of the Phoenician god Damoros who symbolized immortality ( in Arabic). Damour also remained the capital of Mount Lebanon for three centuries. Geography The city is located in one of the few flat areas of the Lebanese coast. Nabay ( ar, نابيه, from the Aramaic: נביא ; ܢܒܺܝܶ̈ܐ) is a village located in the Matn District ('' kada''), Mount Lebanon Governorate (Mohafazat). Nabay is located 16 kilometers (9.9424 mi) away from the capital Beirut. Its elevation is 500 meters (1640.5 ft - 546.8 yd) above sea level. Nabay surface stretches for 388 hectares (3.88 km² - 1.49768 mi²).
