Andile Phehlukwayo
Andile Lucky Phehlukwayo (born 3 March 1996) is a South African professional cricketer. He is a left handed lower order batsman who bowls right-arm fast-medium. He made his international debut for South Africa in September 2016. Early life Phehlukwayo won a bursary to Glenwood High School in Durban for field hockey. He was introduced to cricket by his guardian Rosemary Dismore, who employed his mother as a domestic worker. Early and domestic career In January 2014, Phehlukwayo was named in South Africa's 15 man squad for the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Phehlukwayo was included in the KwaZulu-Natal cricket team squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. In August 2017, Phehlukwayo was named in Jo'burg Giants' squad for the first season of the T20 Global League. The competition was established in 2018 by Cricket South Africa (CSA) as a replacement for the failed T20 Global League, but only two editions were played before the competition was itself cancelled in favour of the SA20 competition from 2022/23. 2021–22 CSA One-Day Cup
The 2021–22 CSA One-Day Cup was a List A cricket competition that took place in South Africa in March and April 2022. It was the first edition of the tournament in the post-franchise era, and the first edition to return to a two-division league format. Domestic cricketing reforms were introduced in 2020 that discontinued the six franchise team format and announced a return to the more traditional provincial based system. Fifteen teams, split over the two divisions, competed in the one-day tournament. In Division 1, five of the six teams who competed in the 2020–21 CSA Four-Day Franchise Series opted to retain their franchise brand, with only the former Cape Cobras reverting to their traditional Western Province name. KwaZulu-Natal (formerly Natal) is the first-class cricket team that represents the province of KwaZulu-Natal (formerly Natal) in South Africa. For the purposes of the Sunfoil Series, KwaZulu-Natal is the only team that has not merged with another and it has played in the SuperSport Series (as it was named then) as the Dolphins since October 2004. 2019 Mzansi Super League
The 2019 Mzansi Super League, also known as the MSL 2.0, was the second edition of the Mzansi Super League (MSL) Twenty20 (T20) franchise cricket tournament in South Africa. It started on 8 November and ended on 16 December 2019. Jozi Stars were the defending champions, having won the inaugural 2018 tournament. Durban Heat
Durban Heat were a franchise team of the South African Mzansi Super League (MSL) Twenty20 cricket tournament. The team were based at the Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban. Durban Heat played in the first two editions of the MLS in 2018 Mzansi Super League, 2018 and 2019 Mzansi Super League, 2019, before COVID-19 delayed the competition in 2020. The franchise was dissolved in 2021 in response to the reform of the domestic structure of South African cricket. 2018 Mzansi Super League
The 2018 Mzansi Super League was the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super League (MSL) Twenty20 (T20) franchise cricket tournament in South Africa. It started on 16 November and finished on 16 December 2018. Six teams played a total of thirty-two matches. The players' draft took place on 17 October 2018, with more than 200 international players expressing their interest to take part. On 18 October 2018, it was announced that Global Sports Commerce (GSC) is the official international commercial and broadcast partner from 2018 up to 2022.
