Andersen Racing
Andersen Racing was a professional auto racing team that competed in Firestone Indy Lights and Star Mazda competition. It was owned by Dan Andersen, who founded the U.S. F2000 National Championship in 1991 and his brother John Andersen. The team was formed in 1999 and competed in amateur SCCA Formula Continental and the similar F2000 Championship pro series. In 2006 the team began racing in Star Mazda and they began racing in Indy Lights in 2007 fielding a car for Andrew Prendeville and Joey Scarallo who was replaced by J. R. Hildebrand for the last three races of the season. The Indy Lights team was in partnership with Rahal Letterman Racing. Hildebrand joined the team full-time in 2008 and the second car was shared by Prendeville who left the team mid-season and Daniel Herrington who stepped in to replace him. Palmetto, Florida
Palmetto is a city in Manatee County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was listed as 13,323. It is part of the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. History A post office called Palmetto has been in operation since 1868. Samuel Sparks Lamb is considered the "Father of Palmetto," having surveyed and plotted the city at its outset and donated several plots of land. He owned a general merchandise store in town. Samuel Sparks Lamb was from Clarke County, Mississippi, and arrived in the area near the Manatee River in 1868 establishing Palmetto. Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway is a tri-oval race track in the Village West area near Kansas City, Kansas, United States. It was built in 2001 and it currently hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The IndyCar Series also held races at the venue until 2011. The speedway is owned and operated by NASCAR. Officials considered both the Missouri and Kansas side of the city but eventually settled with the Kansas side because of better funding. Mike Andersen (born Mikkel Dybdal Andersen, February 25, 1977, Rødekro, Denmark) is a Danish songwriter, singer and guitarist and bandleader of the Mike Andersen Band. Musical career Already at 12 years of age, blues, rhythm & blues and African-American music had taken a firm grip on Andersen. While everyone around him in Denmark was listening to a mix of Wham, Duran Duran and Madonna, he practised guitar along with the LPs of Lightning Hopkins, B.B. Kart racing or karting is a road racing variant of motorsport with open-wheel, four-wheeled vehicles known as go-karts or shifter karts. 2010 Star Mazda Championship Season
The 2010 Star Mazda Championship was the twelfth season of the Star Mazda Championship, an open wheel auto racing series that competes using spec chassis and engines. It was the third season under the sanctioning of the International Motor Sports Association and the first under the Indy Racing League's new Road to Indy ladder. Conor Daly became series champion after finishing in the top four positions in each of the twelve races prior to clinching the title at Mosport International Raceway. Anders Krohn
Anders Krohn (born 15 November 1987) is a Norwegian racing driver from Stavanger. Racing career After a youth in karting, Krohn moved to cars in the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship in 2006. In 2007 he primarily raced in Benelux Formula Ford series but made a few appearances in other Formula Ford series and participated in the Formula Ford Festival, finishing 11th in Duratec class. In 2008 he moved to the United States and competed in the F2000 Championship Series for Andersen Racing where he won the championship. In 2009 he competed for Mundill in the Star Mazda Championship, winning at the Milwaukee Mile and finishing 6th in points. For the 2010 season he stayed in Star Mazda but returned to Andersen Racing. Carmen Jordá
Carmen Jordá Buades (born 28 May 1988) is a Spanish motor racing driver. From 2015 to 2017, she was a development driver for the Lotus and Renault Sport Formula One teams. Her appointment by Lotus saw her become just the eleventh woman in history to be part of a Formula 1 team's driver line-up. She has competed in other motor racing series such as GP3, Indy Lights and the Le Mans Series. She was born in Alcoy, Spain and currently resides in Valencia, Spain. The 2010 Indy Racing League Firestone Indy Lights season was the 25th Indy Lights season. It was contested over thirteen races beginning on March 28 on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, and ended on October 2 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Jean-Karl Vernay became the first European to win the championship title since Alex Lloyd in 2007, after taking five victories and ten top-five placings at the wheel of his Sam Schmidt Motorsports car. Joel Miller (born May 10, 1988) is an American auto racing driver from Hesperia, California. Racing career Miller began his career in karting winning the Stars of Karting Western ICA Championship in 2005 and the Stars of Karting ICA National Championship in 2006. Joel Miller became one of the few Americans to compete alongside Factory Tony Kart's program in the SKUSA and Stars of Karting Championships.
