Anders Kronborg
Anders Kronborg (born 18 March 1982 in Esbjerg) is a Danish politician, who is a member of the Folketing for the Social Democrats (Denmark), Social Democrats political party. He was elected into parliament in the 2019 Danish general election. Political career Kronborg sat in the municipal council of Esbjerg Municipality from 2005 to 2017. He was elected into parliament in the 2019 election, where he received 8,607 personal votes. The Folketing ( da, Folketinget, ; ), also known as the Parliament of Denmark or the Danish Parliament in English, is the unicameral national legislature (parliament) of the Kingdom of Denmark—Denmark proper together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Established in 1849, until 1953 the Folketing was the lower house of a bicameral parliament, called the Rigsdag; the upper house was Landstinget. South Jutland ( da, Sydjylland) is one of the 12 multi-member constituencies of the Folketing, the national legislature of Denmark. The constituency was established in 2007 following the public administration structural reform. The Social Democrats ( da, Socialdemokraterne, ) is a social democratic political party in Denmark. A member of the Party of European Socialists (PES), the Social Democrats have 50 out of 179 members of the Danish parliament (following the latest Danish general election held in 2022), Folketing, and three out of fourteen MEPs elected from Denmark. Esbjerg Municipality () is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark.
