Anders Kirkhusmo
Anders Kirkhusmo (17 December 1865 – 12 December 1949) was a Norwegian educator and union representative. Anders Kirkhusmo was born at Ã…len, in Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. He was a teacher at Klæbu Seminar 1885-1887. He worked in Røros from 1889 until 1892, then taught in elementary school in Tolga, Brekken, Os and Nord-Odal. He was a teacher at Elverum Seminar 1896-1902. He was a teacher at Vaterland 1917 and Majorstua from 1927 to 1935. He was the first president of the Young Liberals of Norway Young Liberals of Norway ( no, Unge Venstre) (NUV) is the youth league of the Norwegian political party Venstre. Ålen is a former municipality in the old Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The former municipality existed from 1855 until 1972. It encompassed the southeastern half of what is now the municipality of Holtålen in Trøndelag county. The administrative centre was the village of Renbygda (also known as Ålen) where Ålen Church is located. History The parish of Ålen (historically spelled ''Aalen'') was established as a civil municipality in 1855 when it was split off from the municipality of Holtaalen. Initially, Ålen had a population of 1,487. (The now smaller Holtaalen municipality later changed its name to ''Haltdalen'' in 1937.) Majorstua
Majorstuen is a particularly affluent neighbourhood in the Frogner borough in the inner part of Oslo, Norway. Majorstuen is known for its vibrant downtown and especially its shopping area. The area has several elegant townhouses c. 1880–1890. The area is also an important public transport junction in Oslo, where all metro lines, three tram lines and five bus lines operate. It is served by Majorstuen station. The name The neighborhood was named after a well-known public house that was located on the east side of Sørkedalsveien. Knut Helle
Knut Helle (19 December 1930 – 27 June 2015) was a Norwegian historian. A professor at the University of Bergen from 1973 to 2000, he specialized in the late medieval history of Norway. He has contributed to several large works. Early life, education and marriage He was born in Larvik as the son of school inspector Hermann Olai Helle (1893–1973) and teacher Berta Marie Malm (1906–1991). He was the older brother of politician Ingvar Lars Helle. The family moved to Hetland when Knut Helle was seventeen years old. He took the examen artium in Stavanger in 1949, and a teacher's education in Kristiansand in 1952. He studied philology in Oslo and Bergen, and graduated with the cand.philol. degree in 1957. Sør-Trøndelag () was a county comprising the southern portion of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway.
