Andar Ng Mga Balita (TV Program)
''Andar ng mga Balita'' (lit. ''Movement of the News'') is a Philippine news television program. It was the flagship newscast of AksyonTV. The newscast airs from Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 n.n. local time. It is anchored by Martin Andanar and Chi Bocobo with reports from MJ Marfori, Danton Remoto and Seph Ubalde. The show was replaced by the second of four editions of ''Aksyon sa Tanghali''. History The newscast was based on the morning radio newscast of the same title hosted by Andanar on Radyo5 92.3 News FM. The program launched a weekend edition that aired on February 26–27, 2011 with Jove Francisco and Chi Bocobo as its co-anchors. However, the weekend edition ended to be replaced by ''Balitang 60'' on March 5, 2011. DWFM (92.3 FM), broadcasting as 92.3 News FM Radyo5 (pronounced as Radyo Singko), is a radio station owned by the Nation Broadcasting Corporation and operated by TV5 Network. It serves as the flagship station of the Radyo5 network, one of the assets of News5. The station's studio is located in TV5 Media Center, Reliance cor. Sheridan Sts., Brgy. Buayang Bato, Mandaluyong, while its transmitter is located in NBC compound, Block 3, Emerald Hills, Sumulong Highway, Antipolo. This station operates daily from 4 am to 12 mn. History 1973–1998: MRS DWFM signed on in 1973 as Manila's third FM station and the Nation Broadcasting Corporation's first FM station. AksyonTV Original Programming
Aksyon TV () was a Philippine free-to-air television network. It was a joint venture of Nation Broadcasting Corporation and TV5 Network, Inc. (international operations is under its subsidiary Pilipinas Global Network Ltd.), both under PLDT media arm MediaQuest Holdings. Its programs were primarily produced by TV5's divisions News5 and ESPN5. AksyonTV formerly broadcasts terrestrially through DWNB-TV (UHF channel 41) in Metro Manila, as well as on UHF channel 29 in Cebu, Davao and other relay stations, and on a digital subchannel via channel 5.2 in Metro Manila. It occupies the frequency previously used by MTV Philippines (now MTVph), a subsidiary of MTV Networks Asia Pacific until 2006. Named after TV5's newscast, '' Aksyon'', it started broadcasting on February 21, 2011, as an all-news channel, with simulcasts from Radyo5 and independently produced newscasts from News5.
