History The former high school in Chesterfield Township was converted to a middle school when the new high school opened at the beginning of the 2003-04 school year. Chesterfield Charter Township is a charter township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township population was 37,405. Gregory Janicki (born July 9, 1984) is an American association football, soccer player who last played for Detroit City FC in the National Premier Soccer League, NPSL.
