Exhumed (band)
Exhumed is an American deathgrind band formed in San Jose, California, that is currently signed to Relapse Records. It is centered around vocalist-guitarist Matt Harvey, who is the leading force of the group, as well as the sole constant member. The band has released nine albums and eight split 7-inch singles. They were formed in 1990, went on hiatus in 2005, and reformed in 2010. Background Early history (1990–2000) Exhumed formed in 1990, when founding member Matt Harvey was 15 years old. Exhumed spent much of the ensuing decade releasing numerous demos, split CDs, and EPs. Neil Kernon is an English record producer, mixer, recording engineer and musician from London. He is a Grammy Award winner and has worked on over 100 Gold and Platinum records. It contained backup vocals from Henke Forss from Dawn and guest lead guitars on one song by Mieszko Talarczyk of Nasum. ''Necrocracy'' is the sixth studio album by American death metal band Exhumed. The album was released on August 2, 2013, by Relapse Records. A music video was released for the lead single, "Coins upon the Eyes". The album was described by frontman Matt Harvey as slower, more melodic, and darker than the band's other albums. The only album to feature bassist Rob Babcock, the first to feature drummer Mike Hamilton and the return of Bud Burke who now switched to guitar as opposed to bass on ''Slaughtercult'' and ''Anatomy Is Destiny''. Scott Hull (musician)
Scott Hull (born March 4, 1971) is an American grindcore musician, and the current guitarist and producer for Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, and Japanese Torture Comedy Hour. He has been part of many other projects including the controversial band Anal Cunt (also known as AC or AxCx). Aside from his music works, he currently works as a government computer specialist. Hull is noted for his experimental style of guitar playing that incorporates various influences, as well as for his use of Eight string guitar, eight string and seven string guitars.
