Roberta Alma Anastase (; born 27 March 1976 in Ploiești, Socialist Republic of Romania, Romania) is a Romanian politician and former first female President of the Chamber of Deputies of Romania, President of Chamber of Deputies of Romania, the Chamber of Deputies of Romania between 19 December 2008 and 3 July 2012. Anastase Simu
Anastase Simu (25 March 1854 – 28 February 1935) was a Romanian art collector. Born in Brăila, he had two brothers and three sisters. While the genealogical record is incomplete, it appears that his father Panait was a native of Epirus, part of the city's powerful Greek community, and ran a candle factory with his brother. After attending the Brăila Commercial School, Simu obtained a baccalaureate from the Theresianum in Vienna. He then took two university degreees: in law from the University of Paris, and in political science and administration from the Free University of Brussels.Rusu, p. 488 For a time, he was secretary at the Romanian legation in Berlin. Anastase Stolojan
Anastase Stolojan (6 August 1836 – 25 July 1901) was a Wallachian-born Romanian politician. Born in Craiova, he descended from a family of small-scale '' boyars'' that came from Stolojani village in Gorj County. In 1863, he graduated from the law faculty of the University of Paris, in the process earning a doctorate. Anastase Dragomir (1896–1966) was a distinguished Romanian inventor, most famous for his "catapultable cockpit" patent (with Tănase Dobrescu) as an early form of ejection seat, although preceded by Everard Calthrop's 1916 compressed air ejection seat, and others. Anastase Dragomir, born 6 February 1896 in Brăila, Romania, was the sixth child of his family. He worked in France at several aircraft factories where he perfected a system to save pilots and passengers in case of accidents. Anastase Gasana
Anastase Gasana (born August 5, 1950 in Gikomero, near Kigali, Rwanda) is a Rwandan political figure and diplomat. Gasana was a university professor before entering politics. Gasana was appointed as a Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Rwanda for the first time in 1993 and signed Rwanda's accords with Tutsi rebels in Arusha, Tanzania. After the Rwandan Patriotic Front under Paul Kagame had taken over the country following the Rwandan genocide, Gasana was appointed as ambassador in Washington, US, but did not take office as of November 1994, he was appointed as Minister of Foreign Affairs again. He continued to be a leading member of the Rwandan government for over a decade. Henri Joseph Anastase Perrotin (December 19, 1845 – February 29, 1904) was a French astronomer and a discoverer of minor planets. Some sources give his middle name as Athanase. In his early career, he and Guillaume Bigourdan were assistants of Félix Tisserand at Toulouse Observatory. Later, he was the first director of the Nice Observatory in Nice, France from 1884 until his death. He made observations of Mars and attempted to determine the rotation period of Venus. He also calculated perturbations in the orbit of 4 Vesta. In the literature, he is sometimes referred to as Henri Perrotin and sometimes as Joseph Perrotin (this is indeed one and the same person).
