Ana Maria Magalhães (writer)
Ana Maria Bastos de Oliveira Martinho (Lisbon, 14 April 1946), better known by her pen name Ana Maria Magalhães, is a Portuguese teacher and writer mainly dedicated to children's literature. She is primarily known for the ''Uma aventura'' series of books she wrote with her writing partner Isabel Alçada. Life and work Ana Maria Magalhães was born in Lisbon on 14 April 1946. She graduated in philosophy at the University of Lisbon, and taught Portuguese and History at the basic education level from 1969 until her retirement. She met Isabel Alçada in 1976 at the Escola Básica Fernando Pessoa where they were both teachers. Order Of Prince Henry
The Order of Prince Henry ( pt, Ordem do Infante Dom Henrique) is a Portuguese order of knighthood created on 2 June 1960, to commemorate the quincentenary of the death of the Portuguese prince Henry the Navigator, one of the main initiators of the Age of Discovery. Minor reforms of the constitution of the Order occurred in 1962 and 1980. It is a five-tier order, whose titles are awarded for relevant services to Portugal and for services in the expansion of the Portuguese culture, its history and its values (with a particular focus on its maritime history). According to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED), basic education comprises the two stages primary education and lower secondary education. Universal basic education Basic education featured heavily in the 1997 ISCED document, but the term was not included in the glossary. Each country interpreted the term in different ways, and leading up to the 2011 revision, a discussion paper was issued to seek clarification.
