Amsterdam Music Festival
The Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) is an electronic dance music (EDM) event that takes place during the Amsterdam Dance Event mid-October in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Since the second edition in 2014, the main event has taken place in the Johan Cruijff Arena. In 2015 and 2016 the event was a multiple day EDM-event. During the AMF, the ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs is announced and several prizes are awarded, among which the award for the number one DJ in the world. The music that is played is mostly house and dance music; other genres that are also played at the event include techno, trance and hardstyle. History In 2013 ALDA Events and ID&T organised the first edition of AMF together, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dutch Dance. The first edition took place in RAI Amsterdam and had 25,000 visitors. Due to the big interest the second edition of the event, in 2014, moved from RAI Amsterdam to the Amsterdam Arena. Johan Cruijff Arena
The Johan Cruyff Arena ( nl, Johan Cruijff Arena ; officially stylised as Johan Cruijff ArenA) is the main stadium of the Dutch capital city of Amsterdam and the home stadium of football club AFC Ajax since its opening. Built from 1993 to 1996 at a cost equivalent to €140 million, it is the largest stadium in the country. The stadium was previously known as the Amsterdam Arena (stylised as ''Amsterdam ArenA'') until the 2018–19 football season, when it was officially renamed in honor of legendary Dutch footballer Johan Cruyff (1947–2016) who died in March 2016. The Partysquad
The Partysquad is a Dutch DJ production team. It consists of Jerry Leembruggen, Ruben Fernhout and Lorenzo Biemans. Since the early 2000s they have had 12 singles charting on the Dutch Top 40. They produced part of British rapper M.I.A.'s fourth and fifth albums, ''Matangi'', released in 2013, and '' AIM'', released in 2016. Career The Partysquad started producing in the hip hop genre, collaborating with many Dutch rappers. In 2006, they released a hip hop album titled ''De Bazen Van De Club''. Rocco Rampino (born 1983, in Lecce), better known as Congorock, is an Italian people, Italian Music producer, producer and Disc jockey, DJ. He is best known for his song "Babylon" in 2010. AN21 (Antoine Gabriel Michel Haydamous Josefsson, born Stockholm, Sweden ), is a Greek-Swedish DJ and record producer. He is the younger brother of Steve Angello, a producer and member of Swedish House Mafia. In ''DJ Magazine''s polls of the top 100 DJs, he was ranked at number 85 in 2011 and number 61 in 2012. Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano is a Dutch DJ and record production duo from Amsterdam, composed of Sunnery Gorré (Sunnery James) and Ryan de Lange (Ryan Marciano). Both DJs are of Surinamese descent. Accustomed to renowned labels, they released "SOTU" in March 2013, collaboration with Nicky Romero, on the label of Steve Angello. Showtek is a Dutch electronic dance music duo consisting of two brothers from Eindhoven, Sjoerd (born 6 April 1984) and Wouter Janssen (born 20 August 1982).
