Amrithadhare
''Amruthadhare'' is a 2005 Kannada-language film directed and co-produced by Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and written by actor Ramesh Aravind. The film was released on 7 October 2005 starring Ramya and Dhyan in lead roles. The music was composed by Mano Murthy. Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has made a guest appearance as himself in this movie. The film ran for twenty-five weeks, thereby becoming a silver jubilee film. The movie was dubbed in Telugu as ''Amrutha Varsham'' and included additional scenes with Jayasudha, Nassar, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam and Sunil. Plot Amrutha (Ramya) and Puru (Dhyan) are a married couple. However, they behave like lovers. Even though they like each other, they quarrel sometimes. Amrutha is a spendthrift and Dhyan is a miser. Divya Spandana (born 29 November 1982), better known by her screen name Ramya, is an Indian actress and politician. She served as the Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Mandya, Karnataka. She primarily works in Kannada, alongside Tamil language films. Ramya is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards South, an Udaya Award, and a Karnataka State Film Award. Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar is an Indian director, actor, screenwriter and a lyricist who predominantly works in Kannada film industry, Kannada Cinema. He made his film debut as a screenplay writer in ''Kadina Benki'' (1986) which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film and the Karnataka State Film Awards, Karnataka State Award. Raju Ananthaswamy (1973–2009) was a music composer and director. He worked on Sugama Sangeetha for more than 15 years. He was the son of vocalist Mysore Ananthaswamy. He died in 2009, at the age of 35 years. Personal life Raju Ananthaswamy began playing music in his father's troupe at a young age. He had his initial Tabala lessons from Vid.
