Amnon Harlap
Amnon Harlap ( he, אמנון חרל"פ, born 13 December 1909 - died 29 May 2006) was an Israeli footballer, who played for Hapoel Tel Aviv and the Mandatory Palestine national football team. Playing career Harlap was born in Rehovot in 1909, and started playing football with friends in his hometown. At high-school age, he attended the Herzliya Hebrew Gymnasium in Tel Aviv, where he joined local youth club Allenby Tel Aviv, which was initially affiliated with Maccabi Tel Aviv, but its members decided to withdraw from Maccabi, due to the professional attitude towards sports and merged in 1927 with Hapoel Tel Aviv. Harlap stayed with Hapoel until 1935, but in loan one year to Belgium by ARA La Gantoise where he play two games in Second Division. Rehovot

The 1928 People's Cup ( he, גביע העם, ''Gvia HaAm'') was the first season of Israeli Football Association's nationwide football cup competition. Matches began on 7 April 1928 and the final was played on 26 May 1928. Hapoel Allenby Tel Aviv won the cup, beating Maccabi Hasmonean Jerusalem 2–0 in the final. The 1933–34 Palestine League was the second season of league football in the British Mandate for Palestine. The defending champions, British Police didn't take part in this season following an order by the High Commissioner forbidding British teams to play Jewish teams. Gideon "Gidi" Gov ( he, גידי גוב; 4 August 1950) is an Israeli singer, TV host, entertainer, and actor. He was married to the late Anat Gov with whom he had three children. Biography Early life Gov was born in Rehovot, Israel, to Daniel and Tzipora Gov. As a child Gov suffered from asthma. Gov's father died when he was very young, which made his mother move with him from place to place, including Tel Aviv and Eilat. Growing up, Gov never dreamed of becoming a singer. When he enlisted to the IDF in 1969 Yair Rosenblum recommended that Gov be auditioned for the Nahal entertainment troupe. Gov passed the auditions and joined the Nahal entertainment troupe.
