Amir Nasr Racing was a Brazilian auto racing team based in Brasilia. The team was created in 1980 by Amir Nasr under Brasilia Racing name. Amir Nasr Racing competed in Formula 3 Sudamericana and Formula Renault 2.0 Brazil all with race winning success that helped with the progression of many Brazilian drivers in junior formulas, such as Hélio Castroneves, Vítor Meira, Antônio Pizzonia, Luciano Burti, Bruno Junqueira, Cristiano da Matta, Mário Haberfeld, Max Wilson, Átila Abreu and Sérgio Jimenez. Stock Car Pro Series, formerly known as Stock Car Brasil, is a touring car auto racing series based in Brazil organized by Vicar. It is considered the major Brazilian and South American motorsports series. Starting in 1979 with Chevrolet as the only constructor, the series has also seen other constructors joining in and leaving such as Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Volkswagen, currently the only other beside Chevrolet is Toyota. Cristiano Da Matta
Cristiano Monteiro da Matta (born 19 September 1973) is a Brazilian former professional racing driver. He won the CART Championship in 2002, and drove in Formula One with the Toyota team from 2003 to 2004. Career biography Origins and early career Da Matta's father was Toninho da Matta, a 14-time Brazilian touring car champion. Born in Belo Horizonte, Cristiano da Matta began karting at the age of 16, adopting a helmet design nearly identical to his famous father's helmet. Felipe Nasr
Luiz Felipe de Oliveira Nasr (born 21 August 1992) is a Brazilian racing driver. He is the 2018 IMSA Sportscar champion and won the 2019 12 Hours of Sebring. After a year as the official test driver for Williams in 2014, he joined Sauber as a full-time Formula One driver in 2015. However, from the 2017 season he was replaced by Pascal Wehrlein. Sérgio Jimenez (born May 15, 1984, in Piedade, São Paulo State) is a Brazilian racecar driver. Career He started his career in 1994 with karting and in 2002 participated in the Formula Renault Brazilian Championship, which he won. In 2006 he participated in the Spanish Formula Three Championship. Max Wilson (born August 22, 1972 in Hamburg, West Germany) is a racing driver of Brazilian parentage. Racing career Junior formulae Wilson started his motor racing career in 1985 in go-karts. He moved into single-seaters in 1993, when he was offered a ride in the Brazilian Formula Ford Championship. In 1994 he moved to the Brazilian Formula Chevrolet Championship and finished 2nd overall, behind Felipe Giaffone. Mário Haberfeld (born January 25, 1976 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian auto racing driver. After winning the British Formula 3 Championship in 1998 British Formula 3 season, 1998, he drove in International Formula 3000, Formula 3000 from 1999 until 2002. He posted some decent results, but struggled his first season driving for the McLaren (racing), McLaren junior team failing to score a single point while teammate Nick Heidfeld won the series championship.
