Amichai Lau-Lavie
Rabbi Amichai Yehuda Lau-Lavie (born April 22, 1969) is a social entrepreneur, human rights activist and LGBT, conservative rabbi, founder and spiritual leader of the Lab/Shul community in New York. Biography Lau-Lavie is the fourth son of Naphtali Lau-Lavie and Joan Lau-Lavie (from Lunzer). His brother, Binyamin Lau, heads the 929: Bible Together project. His uncle, Israel Meir Lau, served as the chief rabbi of Tel Aviv, and his cousin, David Lau, is the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi in Israel. Lau grew up in Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak, New York and Jerusalem. He graduated from Hartman High School for Boys in Jerusalem in 1986. He continued his studies at the Har Etzion Yeshiva, and enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces in 1987 as part of the integration program of the Ein Tzurim Yeshiva, where he served paratrooper, as a combat medic, and as a medic instructor in the national squad. Naphtali Lau-Lavie (sometimes Naphtali Lavie) (1926 – December 6, 2014) was an Israeli journalist, author, and diplomat. Channel 10 (Israeli TV Channel)
Channel 10 ( he, ערוץ עשר, translit=Arutz Eser), formerly known as Israel 10 ( he, ישראל 10, translit=Yisra'el Eser), was an Israeli free-to-air television channel. Operating under the auspices of The Second Authority for Television and Radio, Channel 10 was one of three commercial television channels in Israel (others being Keshet 12 and Reshet 13), enjoying an average audience rating of 6.5% in 2011 within its main news program. Despite the name, the channel was actually broadcast on channel 14 from 1 November 2017 until its closure on 16 January 2019. Channel 2 ( he, ערוץ שתיים, Arutz Shtaim), also called "The Second Channel" ( he, הערוץ השני, HaArutz HaSheni) was an Israeli commercial television channel. It started doing experimental broadcasts funded by the television tax. The channel started commercial broadcasting on 4 November 1993 regulated and managed by The Second Authority for Television and Radio.
