The American Nutrition Association (ANA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization established to encourage the scientific investigation of nutrition and metabolism. The ANA publishes the ''Journal of the American Nutrition Association'' and hosts scientific conferences in the US and in Europe. Hinsdale is a village in Cook and DuPage counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. Hinsdale is a western suburb of Chicago. The population was 17,395 at the 2020 census, most of whom lived in DuPage County. The town's ZIP code is 60521. The town has a rolling, wooded topography, with a downtown, and is a 22-minute express train ride to downtown Chicago on the Burlington Northern line. The food industry is a complex, global network of diverse businesses that supplies most of the food consumed by the world's population. The food industry today has become highly diversified, with manufacturing ranging from small, traditional, family-run activities that are highly labor-intensive, to large, capital-intensive and highly mechanized industrial processes. Sodium
Sodium is a chemical element with the symbol Na (from Latin ''natrium'') and atomic number 11. It is a soft, silvery-white, highly reactive metal. Taylor C. Wallace is an American food and nutrition scientist and media personality. Wallace is the principal consultant at the ''Think Healthy Group'' and an adjunct professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food studies at George Mason University.
