The American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) is a nonprofit association of veterinarians who specialize in the care and treatment of bovines such as cattle. AABP has 13 districts covering the United States and Canada, but welcomes membership by veterinarians and veterinary students worldwide. It is the only association for bovine veterinarians, and the largest such association in the world. The organization was founded in 1965. Bovine
Bovines (subfamily Bovinae) comprise a diverse group of 10 genera of medium to large-sized ungulates, including cattle, bison, African buffalo, water buffalos, and the four-horned and spiral-horned antelopes.
