	Ameerega Yoshina ''Ameerega yoshina'' is a species of poison frogs found in central Peru. It was found in the Huallaga Province. It resembles ''Ameerega bassleri, A. bassleri'' and ''Ameerega pepperi, A. pepperi'', but can be differentiated by its advertisement call being slower than its relatives; approximately one-half the speed of ''A. bassleri'' and one-quarter the speed of ''A. pepperi''.Brown, Jason L., and Evan Twomey. The Specific name (zoology), specific name ''bassleri'' honors Harvey Bassler, an American geologist and paleontologist. Distribution and habitat The species is found in lowland and montane tropical moist forests, in both pristine and slightly degraded habitat, in the Amazon drainage of Peru at elevations of 270–1,200 m.
