Amber Josephine Liu (born September 18, 1992), also known mononymously as Amber, is an American singer, rapper, and songwriter. She debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group f(x) in September 2009. In 2015, she became the first f(x) member to make a solo debut with the release of her first extended play ''Beautiful'' and has since released solo singles in Korean, English, and Mandarin. In July 2018, she joined Steel Wool Entertainment following her original label SM Entertainment’s joint partnership with Steel Wool to manage her American activities. In September 2019, she left SM and exclusively signed with Steel Wool prior to the release of her 2020 extended play ''X.'' KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ E&M. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France. In January 2017, KCON announced that they would be hosting their first KCON Mexico at the Mexico City Arena on March 17 and 18, 2017. Girls' Generation Asia Tour "Into the New World" is the first Asian concert tour of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. It commenced with two shows in December 2009 in Seoul, followed by two encore shows in February 2010, before the Asian legs in Shanghai and Taipei. Additionally, on August 25, 2010, the group visited Tokyo, Japan for their Premium Showcase Live in Ariake Colosseum.
