Amarildo Souza do Amaral (born 2 October 1964), known simply as Amarildo, is a Brazilian retired Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. Football career Born in Curitiba, Amarildo appeared in his country's Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Série A for four different teams: Operário Futebol Clube, Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, Sport Club Internacional and São Paulo FC, the first three early into his career. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system. At the end of each season, the two top-finishing teams are promoted to the top-tier Primeira Liga and the two lowest-ranked teams are relegated to the third-tier league.
