Akira Amari
is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) and a member of the lower house representing the Minami Kanto Bloc. Personal life Amari is a native of Atsugi, Kanagawa, where he attended Kanagawa Prefectural Atsugi High School. He graduated from Keio University in 1972 with a degree in political science. After spending two years working at Sony, he left to work as a secretary for his father, Tadashi Amari, who at the time represented Kanagawa's 3rd district in the House of Representatives. He is a follower of Tenrikyo, joining the likes of fellow LDP representatives Hakuo Yanagisawa, Fumio Kyuma, Sanae Takaichi, Bunmei Ibuki, and Jinen Nagase. Amari Spievey (born April 15, 1988) is a former American football safety. He played college football at Iowa. He was considered one of the top cornerback prospects for the 2010 NFL Draft. He was picked in the 3rd round (66th overall) in the 2010 NFL Draft. On August 31, 2013, he was released by the Lions. High school career Spievey attended Xavier High School, where he played cornerback and running back, and finished his career as the all-time leading rusher in school history. He rushed for 3,606 yards and 50 touchdowns in his career, along with 53 receptions for 858 yards and eight touchdowns. The son and successor of Amari Torayasu, he was a senior retainer of the Takeda clan of Kai Province, and ranked among Takeda Shingen's 'Twenty-four Generals'.
