Amari Henderson
Amari Henderson (born September 8, 1997) is an American professional football defensive back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Wake Forest. He has also been a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). Early years Henderson played high school football at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He recorded 25, tackles, 29 pass breakups and nine interceptions his senior year in 2014, earning AP first-team all-state honors. College career Henderson played college football at Wake Forest from 2016 to 2019. He was redshirted in 2015. He played in 11 games, starting eight, in 2016, totaling 20 tackles, one interception and nine pass breakups. Defensive Back
In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, between the defensive line and the defensive backs. Among the defensive backs, there are two main types, cornerbacks, which play nearer the line of scrimmage and the sideline, whose main role is to cover the opposing team's wide receivers, and the Safety (gridiron football position), safeties, who play further back near the center of the field, and who act as the last line of defense. NFLPA Collegiate Bowl
The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game for NFL draft-eligible college players, held annually in January. The event was founded in 2012 by the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). Players predominantly, but not exclusively, are from teams within the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). The first six editions of the game were played in Carson, California, at the venue previously known as Home Depot Center and later as StubHub Center. Christian James McCollum (born September 19, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). During his third year in the league in 2015–16, he was named the NBA Most Improved Player.
