Amanul Haque
Amanul Haque is a Bangladeshi dancer. He was awarded Ekushey Padak award in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh in the category of arts (dance). Career Haq took dance lessons of Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Manipuri dance from Ghanashyam Das Lakshman Bijoy and his wife Nileema. In 1959, he started his career as a dancer in Ghanashyam Anjariya in Karachi, Pakistan. He is the convenor of Bangladesh Nrityashilpi Sangstha (BNSS). In 1963, Haque joined the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan while continuing his practice of music and dance. In 1964, Haque became the first person from East Pakistan to appear as a dancer on Karachi Television. He became the dance director of his debut film titled ''Neela Parbat''. In 1966, he joined Barin Mazumder's music college. Later, he joined a cultural organization ''Kranti''. Ekushey Padak
Ekushey Padak ( bn, একুশে পদক; lit. "Twentyfirst Award") is the second highest civilian award in Bangladesh, introduced in memory of the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement of 1952. The award is given to recognize contributions in a number of fields, including culture, education, and economics. The Ministry of Cultural Affairs administers the award. The award consists of an 18 carat gold medal weighing 3 tolas and a certificate of honour. The medal was designed by the artist Nitun Kundu. The amount of the cash reward was originally ৳ 25,000, but it was subsequently increased to ৳ 100,000 in 2015. Next it was increased to tk 2,00,000 in 2017 and to tk 4,00,000 as of November 2019. Kuchipudi
Kuchipudi () ( Telugu: ) is one of the eight major Indian classical dances. It originates from a village named Kuchipudi in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Kuchipudi is a dance-drama performance, with its roots in the ancient Hindu Sanskrit text of Natya Shastra. It developed as a religious art linked to traveling bards, temples and spiritual beliefs, like all major classical dances of India. Neela Parbat ( ur, ) is a 1969 Pakistani Urdu film directed by Ahmad Bashir. The cast included Mohammad Ali, Husna, Sofia Bano, Komal, Zareen Panna and Agha Talish. Story theme It was Pakistan's one of the earliest experimental feature films. It had experimentation by the film director with the Freudian sensual themes which was very unusual for Pakistan at that time. So the film received a 'for adults only' rating. Barin Mazumder
Barin Mazumder (15 February 19213 March 2000) was a Bangladeshi classical musician and educationist. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1983 by the Government of Bangladesh. Early life Mazumder was born into a Jamindar family at Radhanagar in Pabna District. His father Nishendra Mazumder was an artist and dramatist. His mother used to play sitar. To nurture his interest in music his father took him to Kolkata where he first learned music from Vishmadev Chatterjee. The first Raag that he learned was “Raag Bhupali”.
