Alyssa Valdez
Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Her global recognition paved the way for her to play in other countries like Thailand for 3BB Nakornnont and Taiwan for Attack Line Volleyball Club. Early life Valdez was raised in San Juan, Batangas, to parents Ruel, who works in an automobile company, and Pablita, a public school teacher. She is the only daughter among four children. Jamenea "Jem" Ferrer is a Filipina volleyball player. She was a 3-time UAAP best setter awardee while playing for the Ateneo university Lady Eagles volleyball team. She was a member of Fab 5 together with Dzi Gervacio, Fille Cainglet–Cayetano, Gretchen Ho and A Nacachi. Career Ferrer won the UAAP Best Setter awards three times when she won the award in the 2009-2010 Season 72, 2010-2011 Season 73 and the 2012-2013 Season 75. Gretchen Ong Ho (; born April 19, 1990) is a Filipino television presenter and former volleyball player. She played collegiate volleyball for the Ateneo Lady Eagles from 2008 to 2013, where she was a member of the "fab five" who brought Ateneo to their first back-to-back UAAP finals appearances (seasons 74 and 75). She then played professionally for the Petron Blaze Spikers in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2015, where she helped the team win the 2014 Grand Prix Conference. Dzi Gervacio
Angeline Marie Gervacio, also known as Dzi Gervacio, is a Filipino volleyball player. She is a former Ateneo Lady Eagles player and plays for the Petro Gazz Angels. She is known as the Queen of Jump Serve. Career Gervacio won the WNCAA Juniors Division Best Attacker award in 2006 and 2007. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Ateneo de Manila University and her UAAP career in March 2013, ending the Fab 5 era, Gervacio began her law studies at the same university. On October 22, 2014, Gervacio joined Foton Tornadoes in the 2014 Grand Prix conference of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) as a last-minute replacement for the injured attacker Joey Torrijos. Fille Saint Merced Nombres Cainglet-Cayetano (born January 30, 1990) is a Filipina volleyball player of the Creamline Cool Smashers in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). Fille also played for the Petron Blaze Spikers in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) from 2013 to 2016. Career Cainglet started playing volleyball in fifth grade with her classmates at St. Scholastica's College Manila. Cainglet enjoyed and excelled in the sport and became a member of the varsity volleyball team of St. Scholastica's College Manila in high school. After graduating from high school, she together with four other blue-chipped high school volleyball players was recruited by Ateneo De Manila University, where she played varsity volleyball for five years and was named team captain of the 2011 Ateneo Lady Eagles Volleyball Team. UAAP Season 74 was the 2011–2012 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. It was hosted by Ateneo de Manila University. The men's basketball and the women's volleyball tournaments were aired by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and Studio 23 (the men's basketball games are simulcast over DZSR Sports Radio 918) for the twelfth consecutive year. The Ateneo Blue Eagles women's volleyball team is the women's collegiate varsity volleyball team of the Ateneo de Manila University. They play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). History The Ateneo Blue Eagles women's volleyball team was formed in 1975.
