Alyssa Cecere
Alyssa Cecere (born 4 September 1987 in Brossard, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. Biography Known as Chech, she began playing hockey at the age of five after her brother took in interest. Club career SIC Cecere played five years with the McGill Martlets, during which time she helped her team win three CIS championships. In 20 games with the Martlets in the 2010–11 season, she earned eight points, with two goals and six assists. LCHF 2011-12 was her first season with the Montreal Stars in the Canadian Hockey League. She collected 2 goals and 8 mentions of assistance, for a total of 10 points in 25 matches. Its role is more defensive. In the final of the 2012 Clarkson Cup, Cecere netted the Stars' first goal. Brossard (, , ) is a municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada and is part of the Greater Montreal area. According to the 2021 census, Brossard's population was 91,525. It shares powers with the urban agglomeration of Longueuil and was a borough of the municipality of Longueuil from 2002 to 2006. Canadian Women's Hockey League
The Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL; french: Ligue canadienne de hockey féminin ‒ LCHF) was a women's ice hockey league. Established in 2007 as a Canadian women's senior league in the Greater Toronto Area, Montreal, and Ottawa, the league eventually expanded into Alberta, as well as teams in China and the United States throughout its tenure. The league discontinued operations May 1, 2019, after 12 seasons of operations. For most of its existence, it was the highest level women's hockey league in North America while registered as an amateur association. The National Women's Hockey League (now Premier Hockey Federation) was launched as a rival organization, while also paying its players, but with both leagues competing for the same talent.
