Alrick Toney
Alrick Toney is a Surinamese male badminton player. In 2016, he became the runner-up at the Suriname International tournament in men's doubles event. Junior and national achievements In 2009 Alrick Toney reached three finals at the Surinamese national junior championships u-15, winning the boys doubles title. Two years later in 2011 he won the national mixed doubles u-17 title and was runner-up in both singles and boys doubles. The same year he and his older brother Alroy Toney reached the semi-finals of the Men's Doubles event at the seniors National Championships. He also won the u-19 boys singles title at the 5th Boijmans Memorial 2011 an important National Badminton Circuit event for juniors. The next year 2012, he also reached the final of the u-19 Boijmans Memorial event but could not defend his title, being beaten by Soren Opti 19-21, 16-21. Paramaribo

Mitchel Wongsodikromo
Mitchel Arthur Wongsodikromo (born 26 August 1985) is a Surinamese badminton player and coach. He competed for Suriname at three Pan Am Games: 2003 Pan American Games, 2007 Pan American Games & the 2011 Pan American Games. As a very young badminton player of the club T.N.F. (Tan Na Fesi) in Suriname Mitchel Wongsodikromo was an exceptional talent and won numerous juniors titles and was soon selected to represent his country abroad winning several juniors medals at Caribbean, Central American and South American events. Much of his success was with his doubles partner Virgil Soeroredjo. Multiple Caribbean and Pan Am Juniors Badminton Champion Together they grew up to become a badminton force for Suriname in the Pan Am region. Dakeil Jonathan Thorpe
Dakeil Jonathan Thorpe (born 12 September 1989) is a Barbadian badminton player. Thorpe competed at the 2010, 2014, and 2018 Commonwealth Games. He also represented his country at the 2015 and 2019 Pan American Games. He was the men's doubles champion at the 2018 Carebaco International with Shae Michael Martin and at the 2016 Suriname International tournament partnered with Cory Fanus. Crystal Leefmans
Crystal Leefmans (born 6 January 1995) is a Surinamese badminton player. In 2010, she won the bronze medals at the Medellín South American Games in the mixed doubles and team event. In 2011, she won the mixed doubles title at the Carebaco International tournament in the individuals event of the Carebaco Games partnered with Mitchel Wongsodikromo. Leefmans was also the champion at the Suriname International tournament in 2012 and 2013. In 2018 she won the mixed doubles Carebaco International title again at home, this time partnering compatriot Dylan Darmohoetomo. She was the flagbearer for Suriname at the 2011 Pan Am Games.
