Alphons Joseph is a music director and playback singer in the Malayalam film industry who got a break as a film music composer after composing for the film '' Vellithira''. Alphons is also noted for singing the famous song " Aaromale" from the film ''Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa'', which was composed by A. R. Rahman. Personal life and early career Alphons was born in Kaachery near Nadathara, Thrissur, Kerala, India to a musically affluent Christian family. Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja or Abdul Haliq (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. ''Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa'' is the soundtrack of the 2010 Tamil romance film of the same name, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The soundtrack album and background score were composed by A. R. Rahman, collaborating with Menon for the first time. The lyrics for the songs were penned by Menon's usual associate, Thamarai along with Kalyani Menon and Kaithapram, the latter penning the Malayalam lyrics in the album. Amal Neerad (born on 7 October 1976) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and Film producer, producer who mainly works in Malayalam Cinema. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (first batch). He was awarded the National Film Award for Best Cinematography (special mention) in 2001 for his diploma film ''Meena Jha'' (short feature section).
