Alphan Eseli ''(Turkish: lphan Eşeli''; born March 7, 1973, is a Turkish film director, screenwriter, producer, and photographer. Eseli's critically acclaimed first feature film The Long Way Home (2013) has won the Fipresci Prize and the Golden Zenith Award at the 37th Montreal World Film Festival as well as the Best New Talent Award at the 7th Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. He is the co-founder of ISTANBUL’74 and the Istanbul International Arts and Culture Festival. Early life and education Eşeli was born in Ankara, Turkey. His father worked as a diplomat for the Turkish government. Soon after, they moved to Munich, Germany where he spent his childhood. His early influences about cinema were formed here. Zaha Hadid
Dame Zaha Mohammad Hadid ( ar, زها حديد ''Zahā Ḥadīd''; 31 October 1950 – 31 March 2016) was an Iraqi-British architect, artist and designer, recognised as a major figure in architecture of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Born in Baghdad, Iraq, Hadid studied mathematics as an undergraduate and then enrolled at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 1972. Franca Sozzani (; 20 January 1950 – 22 December 2016) was an Italian journalist and the editor-in-chief of ''Vogue Italia'' from 1988 until her death in 2016. Biography Sozzani was born and grew up in Mantua, Lombardy, northern Italy. She studied Germanic languages and literature and philosophy at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, graduating in 1973. She married at the age of 20; the union was dissolved three months later. Sozzani's career began as an assistant at the children's fashion magazine ''Vogue Bambini'' in 1976.
