Alleppey Green Cardamom
Alleppey Green Cardamom is a green variety of kiln dried Cardamom capsule grown in Cardamom Hills of Idukki district in Kerala. This cardamom variety is called Alleppey cardamom not because it's grown in Alleppey, Kerala rather it's because Alleppey was the main depot through which this cardamom was processed in erstwhile Travancore.

Cardamom
Cardamom (), sometimes cardamon or cardamum, is a spice made from the seeds of several plants in the genera ''Elettaria'' and ''Amomum'' in the family Zingiberaceae. Both genera are native to the Indian subcontinent and Indonesia. They are recognized by their small seed pods: triangular in cross-section and spindle-shaped, with a thin, papery outer shell and small, black seeds; ''Elettaria'' pods are light green and smaller, while ''Amomum'' pods are larger and dark brown. Species used for cardamom are native throughout tropical and subtropical Asia. The first references to cardamom are found in Sumer, and in the Ayurvedic literatures of India. Nowadays it is also cultivated in Guatemala, Malaysia, and Tanzania. The German coffee planter Oscar Majus Klöffer introduced Indian cardamom to cultivation in Guatemala before World War I; by 2000, that country had become the biggest producer and exporter of cardamom in the world, followed by India.

Travancore–Cochin, or Thiru–Kochi, was a short-lived state of India (1949–1956). It was originally called United State of Travancore and Cochin following the merger of two former kingdoms, Travancore and Cochin on 1 July 1949. Its original capital was Thiruvananthapuram. The Nanjangud banana, natively called as Nanjangud rasabalehannu, is a variety of banana grown in and around the area Mysore district and Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, India. Bangalore Rose Onion
Bangalore rose onion, locally called gulabi eerulli, is a variety of onion grown in and around Bangalore in Karnataka. It got the Geographical Indication tag in 2015. History Bangalore rose onions are grown in the districts of Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural, Chikkaballapur and Kolar. They were also grown in Tumkur, Hassan, Davanagere, Dharwad and Bagalkot. Rose onions are not cultivated in any other place in India. Appearance and use The onions of this variety have bulbs with flat base and are spherical. The other characteristics which make them unique are their deep scarlet red colour, anthocyanin, phenols and high pungency. Bangalore blue grape, also simply called Bangalore Blue, is a variety of fox grape ('' Vitis labrusca'') grown in districts around Bangalore in India. Byadagi Chilli
Byadagi chilli ( kn, ಬ್ಯಾಡಗಿ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ) is a famous variety of chilli mainly grown in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is named after the town of Byadgi which is located in the Haveri district of Karnataka. It is sometimes written as Bedgi in some super markets and grocery stores in India.
