Allari (film)
''Allari'' () is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film produced and directed by Ravi Babu under the Flying Frogs banner, the film stars Naresh, Swetha Agrawal and Nilambari in their debuts. ''Allari'' was released on 10 May 2002 and was a box office success. Naresh who became popular with this film, eventually prefixed the title ''Allari'' to his name. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Kurumbu.'' Plot This is a story about a young man Ravi ( Naresh) who belongs to a middle-class family. His father (Kota Srinivasa Rao), runs a small business and is quite tight fisted when it comes to money. Ravi's best friend Aparna "Apu" (Shweta Agarwal), lives in the same building as Ravi. Ravi Babu
Ravi Babu is an Indian actor, director, writer and producer in the Telugu film industry. He has written and directed 15 films and starred in over 75 films. Career His work earned an invitation to participate in a course at the Sony Institute in San Jose, California. After the course, Babu did a short stint at TV Asia as ENG producer and also doubled up as cameraman and editor. In 1999, he started his own production house, Flying Frogs, initially to produce television commercials, but would later become a feature film production house. Advertising career Babu wrote and directed an advertising campaign with actress Tamannaah for Celkon phones. He also created an advertising campaign for N. Tanikella Bharani
Tanikella Bharani (born 14 July 1954) is an Indian actor, screenwriter, poet, playwright and director who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has worked as an actor in more than 750 films, including some in Tamil and Hindi; while he was also screenwriter for 52 films. He has won three Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards.
