Punjab (; , ) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. Located in central-eastern region of the country, Punjab is the second-largest province of Pakistan by land area and the largest province by population. It shares land borders with the Pakistani provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the north-west, Balochistan to the south-west and Sindh to the south, as well as Islamabad Capital Territory to the north-west and Autonomous Territory of AJK to the north. It shares an International border with the Indian states of Rajasthan and Punjab to the east and Indian-administered Kashmir to the north-east. Punjab is the most fertile province of the country as River Indus and its four major tributaries Ravi, Jhelum, Chenab and Sutlej flow through it. Thokar Niaz Baig ( Punjabi, ur, ) is a residential neighbourhood locality and a union council (UC 118) located in Iqbal Tehsil of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. History Before the partition of 1947, the town of Thokar Niaz Beg was located 7 miles outside of the city of Lahore. A temple named Bhadrakali Mandir is located in the area. The area had somehow an equal population of Sikh, Muslim, and Hindu communities. After 1947, most of the houses of this area allotted to migrated Mewati families. Transportation Thokar Niaz Baig serves as the major point of entry into Lahore from the south/west. Ali Raza Abad
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib ( ar, عَلِيّ بْن أَبِي طَالِب; 600 – 661 CE) was the last of four Rightly Guided Caliphs to rule Islam (r. 656 – 661) immediately after the death of Muhammad, and he was the first Shia Imam. The issue of his succession caused a major rift between Muslims and divided them into Shia and Sunni groups. Ali was assassinated in the Grand Mosque of Kufa in 661 by the forces of Mu'awiya, who went on to found the Umayyad Caliphate. The Imam Ali Shrine and the city of Najaf were built around Ali's tomb and it is visited yearly by millions of devotees.
