Museyib Allahverdiyev
Museyib Abdulla oglu Allahverdiyev (; 5 May 1909–19 May 1979) was an Azerbaijani Red Army major and a Hero of the Soviet Union. Allahverdiyev was awarded the title for his leadership of his battalion during the Budapest Offensive. During the offensive, the battalion was reported to have destroyed 25 German tanks, killed up to 1200 soldiers, and captured 2200. Allahverdiyev left the army after the end of the war. Early life and Interwar Allhaverdiyev was born on 5 May 1909 in Dağ Kəsəmən to a peasant family. He received lower secondary education and worked on the kolkhoz. In 1931, he volunteered for the Red Army. He served in the Azerbaijan Rifle Division named for Sergo Ordzhonikidze. In 1932, he became a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. Ayan Allahverdiyeva (born 21 February 2005) is an Azerbaijani chess player, European Youth Chess Championship winner (2018). Biography In 2013 she won the Azerbaijan Youth Chess Championship for girls U8. In 2014 and 2015 Ayan Allahverdiyeva won the Azerbaijani Youth Chess Championship for girls in the U10 age group, but in 2016 and 2017 she repeated this success in the girls U12 age group. Rafael Khanali oglu Allahverdiyev ( az, Rəfael Xanəli oğlu Allahverdiyev) (9 May 1945 – 11 January 2009) was an Azerbaijani politician, co-founder of the New Azerbaijan Party and the second Mayor of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. Allahverdiyev was born to a family of an oil worker in Baku. He had graduated from Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in 1974 and from Western University in 1994 with a degree in management. Jalal Eyvaz oglu Allakhverdiyev ( az, Cəlal Eyvaz oğlu Allahverdiyev; September 17, 1929 – January 19, 2017) was an Azerbaijani mathematician and a member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, which was called the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic in 1972.
