The 1965 All-Ireland Senior Club Camogie Championship for the leading clubs in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by St Patrick’s Glengoole (Tipperary), who defeated Deirdre ( Antrim) in the final, played at Casement Park. Arrangements The championship was organised on the traditional provincial system used in Gaelic Games since the 1880s, with St Rita’s anSt Ibar’swinning the championships of the other two provinces. The Final Scores were level at half time in the final, 1-3 to 2-0. Agnes Hourigan wrote in the Irish Press: The winners deserved the honours because they were always that shade faster to the ball, bur Deirdre, now runners-up in an All Ireland final for the second successive year, went down fighting magnificently. Anne "Nancy" Mulligan-Murray (Neans Uí Mhuirí) from Antrim was the 16th president of the Camogie Association. Playing career From Deirdre club in Belfast, she won three All Ireland medals at full-back in 1945, 1946 and 1947 as Nancy Mulligan, playing her last match for the county in the All Ireland semi-final of 1970, and also played in the All Ireland Club finals of 1964 and 1965. She trained Antrim to victory in another All Ireland. Presidency During her presidency closer co-operation with the GAA was belatedly initiated after a meeting in January 1974. In that year the All Ireland minor county and All Ireland Junior Colleges Championships were inaugurated, and Camogie was included for the first time in the under-14 festival Féile na nGael. Lucy Scott (born 19 January 1971) is a British actress. She is known for playing Charlotte Lucas in the 1995 BBC production ''Pride and Prejudice''. Career Lucy Scott has worked as an actress, in film and television since the early 1990s. She trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama. Sidney Thomas "Tommy" Boyce (September 29, 1939 – November 23, 1994) and Bobby Hart (born Robert Luke Harshman; February 18, 1939) were a prolific American duo of singer-songwriters. In addition to three top-40 hits as artists, the duo is well known for its songwriting for The Monkees. Early years Hart's father was a church minister and he himself served in the Army after leaving high school. Upon discharge, he travelled to Los Angeles seeking a career as a singer. Boyce was separately pursuing a career as a songwriter. After being rejected numerous times, Boyce took his father's suggestion to write a song called " Be My Guest" for rock and roll star Fats Domino. He waited six hours at Domino's hotel room to present him with the demo, and got Domino to promise to listen to the song.
