Alki Larnaca ( el, ΑΛΚΗ Λάρνακας, ''ALKI Larnakas'') was a Cypriot football club based in the town of Larnaca. The club was founded in 1948 and it was dissolved on the 6th of May of 2014 due to financial issues. The club's colours were blue and red. They reached the Cypriot Cup final on five occasions without a win. History 1979 was the best year in club's history. They finished third in the Cypriot Championship and played the final in the Cypriot Cup, losing to APOEL Nicosia, which were also the champions. That gave them the right to play in the UEFA Cup, where they were eliminated in the first round by Dinamo Bucharest. The team was crowned Champions of the Cypriot Second Division for the season 2009–10 and have participated in the Cypriot First Division until its dissolution. Neo GSZ Stadium
GSZ Stadium or Gymnastic Club Zenon Stadium (; Γ.Σ.Ζ., ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Larnaca, Cyprus. Usually it is referred to as the 'neo GSZ Stadium' to distinguish it from the old GSZ Stadium, which it replaced. It is currently used mostly for football matches and was the home ground of AEK Larnaca FC until 2016. The stadium holds 13,032 people. Its owner is the Gymnastic Club Zeno which took its name from the native philosopher of Larnaca Zeno of Citium. Before the merge of Pezoporikos and EPA Larnaca into the new football club AEK Larnaca FC, it was also the home of those two clubs. In 2006 it hosted the Cypriot Cup final between APOEL and AEK Larnaca FC, where APOEL won 3–2. However the greatest event that was hosted in the Larnaca Stadium was the final for the 1998 UEFA European Under-18 Football Championship between Republic of Ireland and Germany where they tied 1-1. Vesko Mihajlović
Vesko Mihajlović (Serbian Cyrillic: Веско Михајловић; born 17 March 1968) is a Serbian former football midfielder and manager. He is widely considered to be one of the best foreign players to have played in the Cypriot Championship. He became a Cypriot citizen in 2002. Career During his playing career he represented FK Sloga Kraljevo, FK Proleter Zrenjanin, FK Vojvodina in Serbia and APOEL, Enosis Neon Paralimni, Olympiakos Nicosia, Anorthosis and Omonia in Cyprus. Mihajlović scored three goals in 18 Yugoslav Second League matches for Proleter during the 1989–90 season, and led the team in scoring with ten goals in 31 Yugoslav First League matches during the 1990–91 season. Neophytos Larkou ( el, Νεόφυτος Λάρκου; born March 8, 1966) is a former international Cypriot football midfielder and currently he is a football manager. Career He started his career from Pezoporikos but when Pezoporikos merged with EPA Larnaca, and AEK Larnaca was founded, he continued his career in AEK. International career As footballer, he made 41 appearances with scoring two goals. In 2009, CFA appointed him as the assistant manager of Angelos Anastasiadis in the Cyprus national football team. Coach On April 15, 2011 he signed a contract with AC Omonoia, and managed to lead the team to the Cyprus Cup Final against Apollon Limassol. Kostas Kaiafas
Kostas Kaiafas ( gr, Κώστας Καϊάφας; born 22 September 1974 in Nicosia) is Cypriot former football player and manager. As a player, he was a midfielder for Omonia and Alki Larnaca. He was the captain of Omonia and the second longest servant in the history of the club, only five appearances short of becoming Omonoia's all-time record holder. Playing career Kaiafas came through the AC Omonia academies, playing at first as a right midfielder but then moving to the centre as a defensive midfielder. 2008–2009 was his last season with Omonia, as manager Takis Lemonis let him know that he is no longer included in his squad, and decided to announce his retirement from the team in June 2009. Radmilo Ivančević ( sr-cyr, Радмило Иванчевић; born 4 September 1950) is a Serbian football manager and former footballer. Itzhak Shum ( he, יצחק שום; born 1 September 1948 in Kishinev, Moldavian SSR) is a retired Israeli football player and manager, and currently the owner of Hapoel Kfar Saba.
