Alinur Aktaş (born 1970, in İnegöl, Turkey) is a Turkish politician in the AKP and the current Mayor of Bursa since 2017. Personal life He was born in 1970, in the İnegöl district of the Bursa Province. After graduating from primary school and high school in İnegöl, he graduated from Uludağ University in Bursa. Alinur Aktaş is married and is also a father to two children. Politics His political life began as a member of AKP. He was elected as the Mayor of İnegöl in the 28 March 2004 elections. During his time being mayor, İnegöl became the second biggest city of the Southern Marmara Region. İnegöl
İnegöl (known as , ''Angelokomis'' in the Byzantine period) is a city (center of the İnegöl district) in the Bursa Province of Turkey. It has a population of 340,000 (2011 figures). İnegöl is one of the centers of the Turkish furniture industry, and is also known for its meatball ( İnegöl köftesi) which has its origins in ćevapi brought to the region by Bosnian immigrants (Bosniaks) during the Balkan Wars. Although considerably quieter than neighbouring Bursa and Eskişehir, İnegöl retains sufficient attractions to make it interesting to tourists on a one- or two-day stopover, as well as possessing sufficiently unspoilt nearby natural attractions to keep one occupied for longer stays. Bursa Province
Bursa Province ( tr, ) is a province in Turkey along the Sea of Marmara coast in northwestern Anatolia. It borders Balıkesir to the west, Kütahya to the south, Bilecik and Sakarya to the east, Kocaeli to the northeast and Yalova to the north. The province has an area of 11,043 km2 and a population of 3,139,744 as of 2021. Its traffic code is 16. Recep Altepe, (born 1959, Bursa, Turkey) is a Turkish politician and a former mayor of Bursa. He graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gazi University.
