Aline Rotter-Focken
Aline Rotter-Focken ( Focken; born 10 May 1991) is a German freestyle wrestler. She won the world title in the 69 kg division in 2014 and a bronze medal in the 67 kg category at the 2013 European Championships. At the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo she won the Gold. She started wrestling in 1996 under the guidance of her father, Hans-Georg Focken. In 2020, she won the gold medal in the women's 76 kg event at the 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup held in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2021, she won the gold medal in her event at the 2021 Poland Open held in Warsaw, Poland. She took gold at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Krefeld ( , ; li, Krieëvel ), also spelled Crefeld until 1925 (though the spelling was still being used in British papers throughout the Second World War), is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located northwest of Düsseldorf, its center lying just a few kilometers to the west of the river Rhine; the borough of Uerdingen is situated directly on the Rhine.
