Alicia Marín
Alicia Marín Martínez (born 17 April 1997 in Madrid) is a Spanish recurve archer. She has competed for Spain at the Summer Youth Olympics, World Archery Championships, the Archery World Cup, and the European Games, winning a bronze medal in the latter in 2015. Career 2014-2016 Marín competed in her first senior tournament in 2014 at the European Outdoor Championships in Armenia, defeating Russia's Inna Stepanova in the bronze medal match to earn her maiden senior archery medal. In 2015 Marín was selected to compete in three events at the inaugural European Games held in Baku in June. She won a bronze medal in the women's individual competition, reaching the semi-finals after finishing the 72-arrow round in nineteenth place. A loss to Denmark's Maja Jager in the semi-finals relegated her to the bronze medal match, where she defeated Evangelia Psarra of Greece to claim the final position on the podium. Miriam Alarcón (born 27 June 1993) is a Spanish recurve archer. Alarcón represented her country at the 2008 (in Antalya), 2009 (in Ogden) and 2010 (in Legnica) World Youth Archery Championships. She competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, held in Singapore. In June 2015, Alarcón represented her country at the 2015 European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. Aída Román
Aída Nabila Román Arroyo (born May 21, 1988) is a Mexican archer. A three-time Olympian, she won silver medal in the women's individual event at the 2012 Summer Olympics and was the women's World Indoor Archery Champion in 2014. She has additionally achieved medal finishes at the World Archery Championships, Archery World Cup, and Pan American Games. Torremolinos
Torremolinos () is a municipality in Andalusia, southern Spain, west of Málaga. 2015 World Archery Championships
The 2015 World Archery Championships was the 48th edition of the event. It was held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 26 July to 2 August 2015 and was organised by World Archery Federation (formerly known as FITA). Qualification and elimination rounds took place at the Sundby Idrætspark, with the medal matches on 1–2 August outside the Danish Parliament building Christiansborg Palace. The competition was preceded by the World Archery Congress on 24–25 July. The programme featured was the same as previous World Championships, with individual, team, and mixed team events in the compound and recurve disciplines. A record number of athletes has entered: 623 archers across the four disciplines. As well as participation, the Championships also broke public engagement and awareness records.
