Alibeyköy (Istanbul Metro)
Alibeyköy is a metro station on the M7 line of the Istanbul Metro in Eyüpsultan. The station is located on Atatürk Street in the Alibeyköy neighborhood of Eyüpsultan. The station is located on a viaduct on Alibeyköy Creek. Access to the platforms of the station is provided by the entrances on both sides of the stream. The M7 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M7 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station. Line M5, officially referred to as the M5 Ãœsküdar–Çekmeköy line ( tr, M5 Ãœsküdar–Çekmeköy metro hattı), is a rapid transit line of the Istanbul Metro System. It is the second rapid transit line on the Asian side of Ä°stanbul, the other in service since August 2012, the M4. Furthermore, it is the first driverless rapid transit line in Turkey. An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Eyüp () or Eyüpsultan is a district of the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The district extends from the Golden Horn all the way to the shore of the Black Sea.
