Aliaksandr Hrabovik
Aliaksandr Hrabovik (born 9 December 1988) is a Belarusian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the silver medal in the men's 97 kg event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus. Career In 2010, Hrabovik competed in the men's Greco-Roman 84 kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Moscow, Russia where he was eliminated in his first match by Damian Janikowski of Poland. At the European Wrestling Championships he won two medals: in 2016, he won one of the bronze medals in the men's 98 kg event and in 2017, he won the silver medal in the men's 98 kg event. In March 2021, Hrabovik competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest, Hungary hoping to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He won his first match by walkover as his opponent, Felix Baldauf of Norway, had tested positive for COVID-19. Amateur wrestling is a variant of wrestling practiced in collegiate, school, or other amateur level competitions. There are two international wrestling styles performed in the Olympic Games: freestyle and Greco-Roman. Both styles are under the supervision of the United World Wrestling (UWW; formerly known as FILA, from the French acronym for International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles). 2021 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament
The 2021 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament is the second regional qualifying tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The event was held from 18 to 21 March 2021, in BOK Sports Hall, Budapest, Hungary. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. Two spots were given to each of the weight classes in every event. This allows a total of 12 available spots for each event. Every winner and runner-up per class were awarded their place for wrestling, at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Nikoloz Kakhelashvili (born 14 November 1995) is a Georgian-born Italian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a two-time medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. Career Kakhelashvili represented Georgia in several competitions before switching to Italy in 2018. Kakhelashvili competed in the 97kg event at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary without winning a medal. He was eliminated in his first match by Artur Aleksanyan of Armenia. In 2020, he won the silver medal in the 97kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy. In the final, he lost against Artur Aleksanyan. In March 2021, Kakhelashvili competed at the European Qualification Tournament in Budapest, Hungary hoping to qualify for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
