Ali Tneich
Ali Samir Tneich ( ar, علي سمير طنيش; born 16 July 1992), also known as Sisi ( ar, السيسي, link=no), is a Lebanese footballer and former futsal player who plays as a midfielder for club Ansar and the Lebanon national team. Club career Tneich played for Salam Zgharta in the Lebanese Second Division, helping them finish second in the 2012–13 season and gain promotion to the Lebanese Premier League. Following a career a futsal player Tneich returned to football, joining Nejmeh ahead of the 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League season. On 13 December 2020, Tneich scored a long-distance goal against rivals Ansar, in a Beirut derby encounter in the league, to help Nejmeh win 2–1. The goal was noted as arguably one of the best in the derby. Tneich finished the season with one goal in 16 league games for Nejmeh. Nejmeh Sporting Club ( ar, نادي النجمة الرياضي, lit=The Star Sporting Club) is a football club based in Manara, a district in Ras Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon, that competes in the . The club was established in Beirut in 1945, and received its license in 1947. Nejmeh's board is affiliated with the Future Movement and the Hariri family. 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League
The 2020–21 Lebanese Premier League was the 59th season of the Lebanese Premier League, the top Lebanese professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1934. The league was initially scheduled to start on 18 September, before being postponed to 3 October as part of preventive measures by the state towards the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first season to feature a "split" format, in which the season was divided into two phases. In the first phase, each club played against each other once, for a total of 11 matchdays. In the second phase, the league was split into two halves – the "top six" and the "bottom six". Points were carried over from the first phase, and each club played five games within its own half. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all games in the season were played behind closed doors. The Lebanese Futsal League ( ar, دوري كرة القدم الخماسية اللبناني) is the top league of futsal in Lebanon. There are 12 teams competing in the league, which operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Lebanese Futsal League Second Division. Podgorica City Stadium ( cnr, Stadion pod Goricom) is an all-seater multi-purpose stadium in Podgorica, Montenegro. Although its seating capacity changed over the years due to several renovations, as of 2019 it has 11,050 seats. The stadium is the home ground of the Montenegrin national football team and Budućnost. History Podgorica City Stadium was built in 1945, following World War II. 2023 AFC Asian Cup
The 2023 AFC Asian Cup will be the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international men's football championship of Asia organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). It will involve 24 national teams after expansion in 2019, with Qatar as the defending champions. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in China from 16 June to 16 July 2023. On 14 May 2022, the AFC announced that China would not host the tournament due to the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and China's Zero-COVID policy. In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract.
