Ali Mandhry
Ali Said Alamin Mandhry, also known as Chef Ali L’artiste, is a TV celebrity chef in Kenya. Early life and education According to Mandhry, inspiration from his grandfather got him into the kitchen at age nine, and started selling cakes he baked to fellow students and teachers at age twelve. After high school, Mandhry worked as an intern at the Sarova White Sands Beach Resort and Spa. He later enrolled in a food production apprenticeship course at Kenya Utalii College. Mandhry graduated with an honours degree from Kenya Utalii College. Career In January 2011, Mandhry became a culinary instructor at Kenya Utalii College's Mombasa campus, in charge of the food production department. This is a list of universities and colleges in Kenya. Kenya has a number of universities and other institutions of higher learning. There are 30 public universities, 30 chartered private universities and 30 universities with Letter of Interim Authority (LIA). These universities are established through institutional Acts of Parliament under the Universities Act, 2012 which provides for the development of university education, the establishment, accreditation and governance of universities. According to a 2004 report on reforming higher education in Kenya, the rapid expansion of university education in the country was a spontaneous response to the increasing demand for higher education necessitated by the increasing flow of students from schools. NTV is a Kenyan general entertainment channel. The channel began operating on April 4, 2005, and is a revamp from the previous Nation TV station under the Nation Media Group arm that has been in existence since 1999. It is a popular TV Station in Kenya along with Citizen TV, Kenya Television Network, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation among other Kenyan broadcasting channels.
